• Collecting donations of old used computers, cleaning them up, and re-donating them to schools and charities that desperately need them;
• Holding and participating in charity fundraisers, such as contests to win a free computer, to raise money for people who have lost homes and properties in disasters their insurance won't cover;
• Providing our employees with fair wages that will do more than just pay the bills, bonuses for exceeding their duties, retirement plans that will stay with them even if they leave the company, a workplace they can feel at home in;
• and other steps we may not even be aware of yet, because we care about leaving behind a planet, a nation, and a community our descendants can be proud of.

Not having large megastores keeps overhead down, passing the savings on to our customers.

Having few and well-paid staff prevents turnover and provides our customers better, more professional service. It's easier to walk into a shop where the employees know you and you know them rather than trying to re-explain your issues to the newest trainee every other week.

When you have a question or concern, you don't want the voice on the other end of the line to answer you in such a thick accent you cannot understand him. Our tech support resides in the same state you do...and usually in the same town.

    Warranty void on defects resulting from user mistreatment (including but not limited to breaking or tampering with the case seal), environmental damage (including but not limited to electrical surges and fires), or other damages not a direct result of defective design, assembly, materials, or workmanship. Warranty also void if anyone other than employees of Avatar Performance Computers attempts any internal entry, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or modifications to said computer or server.

    Warranty does not cover travel expenses greater than five miles from Avatar Performance Computers’ place of business to the location of said computer or server, nor does it cover any travel expenses incurred by anyone else bringing said computer or server to Avatar Performance Computers’ place of business regardless of distance. Warranty also does not cover any shipping and handling expenses if said computer or server has to be packaged and sent via courier to or from Avatar Performance Computers’ place of business nor any damages or losses incurred as a result of the shipper mishandling or misplacing said computer or server.

    Warranty does not cover damages caused to any attached peripherals (including but not limited to monitors, printers, and external drives) or surroundings (including but not limited to such things as carpeting, desks, and walls) regardless of whether or not the warranty covers said computer or server which caused the damages.

    Warranty is null and void if said computer or server is not submitted to Avatar Performance Computers for inspection and either repair or replacement. Avatar Performance Computers reserves the right to seek, at its expense, outside technical advice, labor, or components as it sees fit to satisfy the warranty. Warranty does not compensate the owner or possessor of said computer or server any monies spent on outside technical support, labor, or purchased components not authorized in writing by Avatar Performance Computers.

    Warranty is null and void the moment said computer or server is no longer the property of or possession of the original purchaser. Warranty may be transferred to a new owner or possessor at no additional expense to either the original owner or the new one provided said computer or server is submitted at the original owner’s expense for inspection. Warranty transfer does not restart the three-year expiration.
